when i arrived at school, i just wanted to get it over with. now that graduation is over, i thought it was all over too quickly. i am so happy that i am finally done. it’s hard to believe i will have (read: enjoy) my first free summer since i entered high school. i will be sure to have fun this summer before i resume another stretch of years of academic work at college.
so this is how a new chapter of life begins. where i’m going this fall, i basically have to start over. everything will be new to me. the same can’t be said for most people, and i envy that. but my decision is for the best.
now let the summer games begin.
